First, we must welcome Logan to our group! I hope he will transition smoothly and will feel comfortable very soon with us!
We had a little spelling test with the words practiced last time ( sur, sous, devant, derrière and dans).
Using the same words, we finished the exercises p.55, 3A and 2B.
We started unite 14 lesson 3 with a song "La mère Michel qui a perdu son chat", then the BD p.65.
Then, we started a project: the kids created their imaginary bedroom sticking furnitures on a paper (in the binder). Each kid had to described their bedroom using the words "derrière, devant, sur, sous and dans. They each wrote 3 sentences.
I introduced 3 other words on the list : "à côté, à droite, à gauche".
For next week, practice these words, make up 3 sentences using the bedroom that you created in the binder. You can add, draw anything in the bedroom if you want. The sentences will be read in class.
We also practiced the spelling of the furniture: lit, commode, armoire, tapis, chaise, table, canapé, rideau, lampe and fauteuil (exercise 3B, p.56). Practice again at home.
We will do a spelling test next week.
