All about the teacher

Bonjour,
I am Jocelyne and will be teaching Les Petits this year.

I can't believe it will be our last class this Wednesday!
We started this class reviewing the 12 months of the year with the 4 saisons, then each kids birthdays (in the binder).
We studied the questions that we can ask while traveling after reading the texts p.58 followed by the exercise p.50,1A. The kids certainly love to travel and talk about it!
For next week, if you can, repeat the song. Check YouTube "L'autobus à vapeur, bonjour bonjour" and sing along! The parents will be here at the end of the class for a song and treats :-).

Bonjour!

Today, we worked mainly on the "adverbes de temps". First, we described and read the texts p.52, followed by the exercises p.46.
For next week, practice the song "bonjour, bonjour". You can find it on YouTube.

Bonjour!

We started the class reviewing the sound "on".
We listened to the CD for the lesson p.50 and 51. Then, we completed the exercises p.43-44 and the vocabulary p.45.
During the last part of the class, we are working on a song...Surprise!
For next week, read the story p 53 "La chasse au lion".

Bonjour!

After reviewing the conjugaisons of the verbs of the first groupe (présent et passé composé), we read the text p.48 and answered the questions below it.
We listened to the song p.49, then decoded the text D.
For next week, complete the exercise p.42, 1A.

Bonjour!

We started the class searching for the words using the sound "er"(in the binder).
Then, we had a little grammar lesson on the verbs of "premier group". The "conjugaison" is in the binder.
We opened the book p. 46, read the text, learned a new vocabulary, then corrected the sentences F.
We also read the BD p.47 and described the images.
We had a fun time talking and interviewing each other with the questions asked on the exercises p.40, 3B.

For next week, I'd like them to study the "conjugaison" of the first group verb. They can pick a verb of their choice (marcher, manger, nager....), write the conjugaison and learned it.
If they feel artistic, there is a nice exercise to do p.40, 3A.

Bonjour!

Wow! Today, we had an exciting little event: Yona lost her tooth! I hope the tooth fairy was generous :).
We started the class studying the sound "j" and "g". The kids found a lot of words using these letters (in the binder).
After reading what Croquetout said p.45, D, I gave a drawing of a refrigerator with a lot of food in it and wrote some vocabulary. We also played a game separating the food (fridge or not fridge). We used the vocabulary for the exercise p.39, 2 B.
We also completed the exercise 2A.

For next week, read the text p.46, E.

Bonjour!

After reading together the play p.42-43, we spend some time reviewing how to read the time on the clock (à la française). There is some notes in the binder.
Supported by the text A p.44, we had a little grammar lesson on the verbs transformed from the present to the past. To practice these verbs in the past, I gave an exercise in the binder  and, also we completed the exercise p.38, 1A.
For next week, the kids can do the exercise p.38, 1B.
