bonjour!
Today, we talked about 2 french painters Paul Gaughin and Henri Matisse who travelled in a beautiful place Tahiti. We read the text p.26 and I ask some questions to see if the text was well understood.
After some reading, we wrote (in the binder) a few sentences describing the picture shown in the book p.28. Each kid had to form a well constructed sentence. We only had time to finish p. 28 and start p.29. There is a lot of details, so a lot of writing! It will be nice if each kid, at home, can make up 2 or 3 sentences while looking at p.29 and they will share them next time in class.
Exceptionally, we had a longer recess playing a new game, of course in French!
During the last 5 minutes, we played the hangman.
Homework: describe p. 29 with 2 or 3 sentences, written if possible.
Also, there is a nice coloring picture in the exercise book p.24, 3A (for those who have the book). It's always fun to color!
